OBJECTIVE:
As with many games there are many different sets of rules for games
depending on the location of country and region of where the game is to be
played. The object of the game is to throw your rings over the pegs for
points.
Number of Players: 2 or 4 players

WARNING: ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS GAME.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. Only
use the product as directed and obey all of the safety rules noted
below. Store the product so that it is inaccessible and out of reach of
young children. The owner of the game is responsible for ensuring that
the warnings and rules are provided to all players. Mis-thrown rings
may cause property damage. All players are responsible to ensure that
Ring Toss is played safely. PLEASE PLAY THE GAME CAREFULLY.
ALWAYS ERR ON THE SIDE OF SAFETY.
Preparing to Play:
1. Ensure that the playing field is flat and clear of all obstructions.
2. Then decide where your starting point and scoring (landing) points are
going to be. This can be any distance from the target as long as players
or team captains agree on a distance. Please remember that if children
are playing to make sure that the distance between the players and ends
is suitable for their throwing powers.
3. Ensure that there are no objects behind the target. If there is a wall
behind the target, ensure that the wall has no windows or that the wall is
composed of materials that could not be damaged by thrown rings.
SAFETY RULES:
1. Always obey the safety rules.
2. Ensure that the playing field is clear of all obstructions.
3. All participants and non-participants (including pets) must stay behind
and at a safe distance from the playing field.
4. No person should be between a player and the target at any time.
5. KEEP AWAY FROM YOUNG CHILDREN.
6. All players and non-participants should always be attentive and observe
the game at ALL times in order to avoid injury caused by mis-thrown
rings and other such hazards.
How to Play:
1. Before beginning to play Ring Toss read and obey the SAFETY RULES.
DO NOT CROSS THE PATH OF THE RINGS WHILE IN PLAY.
2. Each player alternates throwing their rings (Player 1, Player 2, Player 1,
etc.) until all the rings have been thrown towards the target.
3. Agree on how the winner will be decided. This can be either by the total
number of points scored after an equal number of throws with the highest
score being the winner. Or the winner can be decided by the first player
to reach a certain score.
4. Each player has colored rings to throw at the scoring area. After throwing
all your rings, add up any score that has been achieved by having a ring
or rings thrown over the peg.
5. This is then added to the individuals or team total.
6. To determine who starts the game, one ring of each color must be
thrown by at the target. The player with the highest number of points in
one throw starts the game.
