Instead of the manganese alkaline
batteries referred to so far, your
camera may be equipped with SAFT
Ni-Cd VR 0.5 AA or Varta Ni-Cd DEAC
451 RS type accumulators. These
accumulators are inserted in exactly
the same way as ordinary batteries.
They can be recharged about 1000
times; at
14°
F, they are capable of
filming over ten 50
ft.
cartridges in
quick succession. They are recharg-
ed while still in the camera, by means
of a charger plugged into the socket
provided for the purpose; two
chargers are available:
• Bolex charger for plugging into the
mains (110-250 V,,-, /50-60 cycles)
• Bolex charger for plugging into the
cigarette lighter on your car (12 V)
