Also, make sure you didn't accidentally press the START/STOP button during operation, or experience a long power failure; if so, discard the ingredients and start over. Avoid opening the lid frequently, especially after the last rising stage (when at least “1:30” is on the display), and ensure it's properly closed. Finally, check if the kneading hooks are blocked by grains or other debris. Remove the baking tin and see if the drive shafts turn; if they don't, contact customer service.

  If you're having trouble removing bread from the baking tin of your BOMANN Bread Maker, the bottom of the loaf may be stuck to the kneading hooks. After baking, clean the kneading hooks and shafts thoroughly. If the bread remains stuck, fill the baking tin with warm water for 30 minutes to loosen it. After soaking, the kneading hooks should be easier to remove and clean.
