• This is NOT an ear thermometer. NEVER
put probe into ear. Take temperature
measurements Underarm, Orally or
Rectally.
• NEVER allow children to play with this
product. It is not a toy. This is a sensitive
electronic device and may be damaged
if not used properly under parental
supervision.
• ALWAYS supervise your child when using
thermometer. NEVER allow your child
to use it alone or without close parental
supervision.
• Avoid sudden impact and dust. Do not
expose the thermometer to extreme
temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight or
shock.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries;
• Batteries must be removed and inserted
under adult supervision;
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged;
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct
polarity;
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from
the thermometer and disposed properly;
• Supply terminals are not to be
short-circuited;
• Different types of batteries (e.g. alkaline,
standard carbon-zinc or rechargeable)
or new and used batteries are not to be
mixed;
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire, may
explode or leak.

• Changes or modifications to this unit
not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void
the user’s authority to operate the
equipment.
• Temperature readings are affected by
many factors including exercise, drinking
hot or cold beverages prior to taking a
reading as well as technique.
• Do not allow children to walk or run during
temperature taking. Do not allow child to
chew on or bend the thermometer. The
probe could present a hazard.
• Rectal temperatures vary by approximately
0.9°F/0.5°C.
