Installation
1. Remove the factory engine cover to
allow access to the manifold air pres-
sure (MAP) sensor and inlet pressure
sensor. (See Fig. 1)
2. The two sensors can be seen at the top
of the engine compartment, unplug
the factory MAP sensor harness, in-
stall the XR-1 Tuner wire-harness
connector to the MAP sensor and to
the disconnected connector. Then re-
peat the procedure for the inlet pres-
sure sensor. Route the harness to a
suitable location and secure the XR-1
Tuner module and connect it to its
harness. (See Fig. 2)
3. We found this location to be suitable
for the XR-1 Tuner Module. (See Fig.
3)
