  If your Bosca pellet stove shuts off and the #3 light flashes, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the hopper is filled with pellets and the lid is securely closed. An open lid prevents pellet feeding. Also, check that the air damper isn't too far open for a low feed setting. Make sure the burnpot is correctly positioned, touching the rear wall of the firebox, and that the burnpot holes are not blocked. Remove the burnpot and clean it thoroughly. Finally, inspect the air inlet, interior chambers, and exhaust system for any blockages, following the cleaning procedures in the maintenance section.

  If your Bosca pellet stove's glass is sooting up quickly, several factors could be responsible. Ensure the stove and vent pipe are clean to maintain proper airflow through the burnpot. Clean the heat exchanger or access baffle clean out. Verify that the vent pipe is installed correctly. Adjust the air damper by pulling the knob farther out. Clean the burnpot holes. Inspect the damper assembly and air intake pipe. You might also test the fuel feed light timing or the combustion blower's RPM after cleaning the blades. Trying a different brand of pellets or using the "Reset Trim" button may also help.

  If your Bosca pellet stove feeds pellets but won't ignite, start by pulling the air damper out for startup. Check for any blockages in the igniter tube or its inlet. Ensure the burnpot is pushed completely to the rear of the firebox, so the air intake collar touches the rear wall. Test the igniter element by applying power directly to it. Also, check the voltage going to the igniter during startup to see if the control board is sending power.
