8.5 Diagnosis and Solution
8.6.1 EEPROM parameter error (EC 51)
Error Code EC 51
Malfunction decision conditions Outdoor PCB main chip does not receive feedback from EEPROM chip.
Supposed causes
f Incorrect installation of indoor to outdoor control wire or line voltage wiring
f PCB faulty

Troubleshooting:

If error continues
Power off, then restart the
unit 3 minutes later.
Replace the outdoor
main PCB.
EEPROM: a read-only memory whose contents can be erased and reprogrammed
using a pulsed voltage. For the location of EEPROM chip, please refer to
the below photos.
