Connectivity
USING ‘BOSCH TOOLBOX’ APP
Pairing requires installation of connectivity
module GCY42 (sold separately). After
pairing your charger with a mobile device
you can adjust certain functions or check
the status of the charger using Bosch
Toolbox app.
Changes made using the Bosch Toolbox
app are confirmed on the charger by a
flashing blue LED connectivity light.
A. Help button – tapping this button will
bring up help screen.
B. Photo – tapping on the photo will let
you customize the photograph of your
product.
C. Battery charge status – the number of
green ‘batteries’ indicates the estimated
charge level for the battery pack.
D. Product nickname – tapping on the
‘pencil’ icon will let you customize the
product nickname. You can also do it when
changing the product photo.
E. Connection status bar – Here you can
see the connection (signal) strength
indicated by vertical bars. You can use the
toggle switch to disconnect the charger
from you mobile device.
F. Charging Modes adjustment slide – you
can choose between three settings: ‘Max
Lifetime’, Standard (middle), and “Power
Boost”.
G. Storage – activates storage charging
mode.
H. Charging Status – can be expanded (or
collapsed) by tapping the down (or up)
arrow to show the following:
a. Type – displays battery type.
b. Percent Full – displays battery charge
level.
c. Time Remaining* – displays time
remaining for current charging mode.
d. Battery Health* – displays battery
condition: ‘Excellent’ (full performance),
‘Good’ (slightly reduced performance),
and ‘Fair’ (replacement recommended).
e. Last Charge* – indicates the date and
time of the last charge of a battery
previously charged on the connected
charger. .
I. Charging Complete Tone – when
enabled, the charger will sound a tone
indicating that charging stage is complete.
J. Identify My Charger – Flashes the blue
connectivity light on the charger
K. Factory Reset toggle switch – you can
reset charger settings back to factory
default settings.
L. Alerts – tapping the ‘alerts triangle’ will
display any alerts received from the
charger.
M. Info button – displays charger
information and specifications.
* This feature is only available when using
batteries with advanced connectivity
features identified in table on page 6.
