Setting the water softening sys-

tem

Press ⁠.

To open the basic settings, press

Adding special salt

To avoid damage to the appliance, only add special

salt to the dispenser for special salt just before the

programme starts.

Unscrew the lid of the dispenser for special salt

and remove.

On initial start-up: Fill the dispenser right up with

water.

Add the special salt to the

dispenser. The water in the

dispenser is displaced and

forced out. Never add de-

tergent.

Place the lid back on the dispenser and turn to

close.

Adding rinse aid

Press the catch on the lid

of the dispenser for rinse

aid and lift ⁠.

Add rinse aid up to the

max mark.

Close the lid of the dispenser for rinse aid.

How to use your appliance

Load the tableware.

Only clean tableware that is suitable for dish-

washers. Remove large remnants of food from

the tableware. Check that the spray arms can ro-

tate freely.

Add detergent.

Switch on the appliance

Select the programme.

Start the programme

⁠.

Remove the tableware at the end of the pro-

gramme.

To cancel the programme, press

for

approx. 4seconds.

The programme is cancelled and ends after ap-

prox. 1minute.

The consumption figures depend on

the programme and additional func-

tion selected.

The runtime will change if the rinse

aid system is switched off or rinse aid

Usage Features

Home Connect Setup:
- Download the Home Connect app from Google Play or the App Store.
- Install the app on a mobile device.
- Scan the QR code provided in the manual with the app to connect the appliance.
Water Hardness Setting:
- Press the power button.
- Hold the "i" button for approximately 3 seconds to enter basic settings.
- Press ">" repeatedly until "Water hardness" is displayed.
- Use "+" or "-" to adjust the setting value according to the local water hardness.
- Press "i" for approximately 3 seconds to save the settings.
Adding Special Salt:
- Unscrew and remove the lid of the special salt dispenser.
- On initial start-up, fill the dispenser with water.
- Add special salt until the dispenser is full; the water will be displaced.
- Replace and turn the lid to close.
- Important: Add special salt just before starting a programme to prevent damage from highly concentrated salt solution. Never add detergent to the salt dispenser.
Adding Rinse Aid:
- Press the catch on the lid of the rinse aid dispenser and lift it open.
- Add rinse aid up to the "max" mark.
- Close the lid until it clicks into position.
Adding Detergent:
- Add detergent to the dry detergent dispenser.
- Close the lid until it clicks into position.
Operating the Appliance:
- Load tableware, ensuring it is dishwasher-safe and large food remnants are removed. Check that spray arms can rotate freely.
- Add detergent.
- Switch on the appliance.
- Select the desired programme.
- Press "Start" to begin the programme.
- Remove tableware after the programme finishes.
- To cancel a programme, press "Reset 4 sec." for approximately 4 seconds. The programme will cancel and end after about 1 minute.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning Filters:
- After each wash, check filters for residue.
- Turn the coarse filter anti-clockwise and remove the filter system.
- Pull down the micro filter to remove it.
- Press locking catches together and lift out the coarse filter.
- Clean all filter elements under running water.
- Re-assemble the filter system, ensuring arrow markings match up, and insert into the appliance, turning the coarse filter clockwise.
Cleaning Spray Arms:
- Unscrew the upper spray arm and pull it down to remove.
- Pull up the lower spray arm to remove.
- Check outlet nozzles for blockages and remove any foreign bodies under running water.
- Insert the lower spray arm until it clicks into position.
- Insert the upper spray arm and screw it firmly in place.
Cleaning Wastewater Pump:
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Remove the filter system.
- Scoop out any water.
- Pry off the pump cover using a spoon and grip it by the crosspiece.
- Lift the pump cover inwards at an angle and remove.
- Remove any food remnants or foreign bodies from the impeller area.
- Insert the pump cover and press down until it clicks into position.
- Install the filter system.
Troubleshooting:
- E:3200 / Water supply indicator: Check for kinked supply hose, closed water tap, jammed/furred water tap, or blocked filters in the water connection.
- E:9240 lights up: Filters are soiled or blocked. Clean them.
- E:6102 lights up: Wastewater pump is blocked. Clean the wastewater pump.
- Loose wastewater pump cover: Secure the cover until it clicks into position.
- Remnants of food on tableware: Rearrange tableware for sufficient space, avoid points of contact, ensure spray arm rotation is not blocked, clean spray arm nozzles, clean filters, ensure filters are inserted correctly, or select a more intensive washing programme.
- Removable streaks on glasses/cutlery: Amount of rinse aid dispensed is too high (adjust setting) or no rinse aid has been added (add rinse aid).
- Rust spots on cutlery: Use rust-resistant tableware, avoid washing with rusting items.
- Detergent residue: Spray arms blocked by tableware (check and ensure free rotation).
- All LEDs light up/flash or programme not running: Electronics fault. Press main switch for approx. 4 seconds to reset and restart.
