1 THP 2020 A Thermal Printer
1.1 Intended use
The THP 2020 A thermal printer is designed and produced for printing information concerning operating
procedures on the fire panel (e.g. daytime operation), also entries stored in the history log, and alarm and fault
messages. (Up to 3 lines per print-out, with 1 line standard print-out and 2 lines additional information.) The
current date and the time are specified. The most recent event is specified at the top.

Installation and operation

Installation must only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel. Please follow your local
regulations concerning installation. Operation of the devices is not intended for personal, family or
household use and applications.
The devices are supplied by SELV circuits (Safety Extra Low Voltage) in which hazardous voltages are not
generated. Thus, special safety measures are not required.
The THP 2020 A Thermal Printer comes in a frame installation housing. It is connected to the S20 interface of the
IOS 0020 A Communication Module, and supplied by the panel.
