Test step 4:
Check secondary voltages at transfor-
mer T1
Connect charger via isolating transformer (230V) to mains.

‚ Connection to secondary output, transformer/rectifier
assembly.
Set values:
S2 V1
0/0 0V
1 21,8V
2 23,3V
3 24,4V
(tolerance ±5%)
Are set values attained?
Yes: Continue with test step 5
No: Trouble-shooting:
Check secondary winding for continuity.
Fault elimination:
Renew transformer.
Fault eliminated?
Yes: Continue with test step 1
No: Continue with test step 5
Test step 5:
Check rectifier
Detach connections of rectifier assembly from secondary side of
transformer.
Use multimeter (diode setting) to check each individual diode in
forward and reverse direction.
Optimum instrument value must always be idicated.
lf this is not the case, renew assembly
! When replacing assembly, fit thermal shrink-down tubing
over connecting wires!
Make sure that connecting wires are a sufficient distance
from conductive parts!
