unused

monitor
input

nections

amplifier.

To
play
your
tape
recorder
with
your
dOis.
place
the
tape
monitor
of
your
901
eouallzer
in
the
monitor
position
(in)
us¬
ing
the
TAPE
MONITOR

circuit.
5.
To
play
your
tape
recorder
with
convertiior^al
speakers
and
headphones,
place
the
TAPE
MONITOR
2
switch
of
your
control
amplifier
on.
Your
tape
recorder
will
then
be
con¬
nected
directly
to
your
hlgh>fidellly
system

HEADPHONES
AND
CONVENTIONAL
SPEAKERS
It
is
important
to
realize
mat
the
BOSE
Active
Equalizer

troduces
substamial
boost
in
the
range
below

match
the
power
response
of
the
90
Speakers.
Consequently,
conventional
speakers
or
headphone;
If
played
with
the
equalizer
in
the
circuit,
will
sound
unnaturi
with
both
treble
and
base
being
emphasized.

IMPORTANTLY.
HEADPHONES
AND
CONVENTIONAL
SPEAKERS
MAY
ACTUALLY
BE
DAMAGED
IF
PLAYED
WITI
THE
ACTIVE
EQUALIZER
IN
THE
CIRCUIT.

important
to
switch
the
Active
Equalize
out
of
the
circuit
by
placing
the
tape
monitor
ewitch
of
you
control
amplitler

OFF

NORMAL
position
when

conventional
speakers

headphones

system.
