■ 本機は 80GB のハードディスクを内蔵していますので、取扱説明書のハードディスクに関する表記を以下のよ
うに変更させていただきます。あらかじめご了承ください。
■ ハードディスクをイニシャライズすると 2 つの 40GB パーティションが作られます。80GB を 1 つのパーティ
ションで使用することはできませんのであらかじめご了承ください。
■ 本機は 80GB のハードディスクを内蔵していますが、実際に使用できる容量は 80GB に満たない場合がありま
す。これは、ハードディスク自身の特性と、容量の一部を本機自身がシステム領域として使用することによる
もので、不良ではありません。

About the Hard Disk Capacity
■
Since the BR-1200CD/1600CD now ships with a 80 GB internal hard disk, the descriptions concerned with the hard
disk that appear in the Owner’s Manual should be changed to reflect this new capacity, as follows.
■
When you execute the initialize on a 80 GB hard disk, this create two partitions, each containing 40 GB. You cannot
create a 80 GB partition.
■
Although the hard disk inside these units are described as having a capacity of 80 GB, the actual amount of space
available on the disk that you can use may be less than 80 GB.
This is due to the characteristics of the hard disk itself, and is also due to the fact that a portion of the hard disk
space is used for these units. It does not indicate a malfunction.
