O Use as a Noise Gate
When
playing
guitar
or
other
instrument
with
a
large
number
of
effects
units
connected,
there
is
usually
a
proportionate
increase
in
the
amount
of
noise
produced.
However,
if
you
connect
the
CL-50
so
it
is
located
at
the
end
of
the
signal
path,
you
can
effectively
eliminate
un-
wanted
noise
during
moments
when
the
instrument
ts
not
being
played.

recording
drums,
using
the
unit
on
the
bass
drum
can
eliminate
any
unwanted
lingering
to
create
a
tighter,
punchier
sound.

recording.
