Excessive motion
artifacts (motion
induced errors).
Ensure that patient is sitting quietly
and the cuff and upper arm are
comfortably elevated to the level of
their heart in order to reduce motion
artifacts during measurement.

Cuff overpressure.
Ensure that patient is sitting quietly
to reduce motion artifacts during
inflation. Ensure that cuff is applied
properly and tubing is not kinked.

Inflation too slow.
Check cuff and tubing for leaks due
to cracks and tears. Check
connections for tightness.
E4
Inflation too fast.
Check cuff and tubing for kinks.
E5
Deflation too slow.
Check cuff and tubing for kinks.
E6
Deflation too fast.
Check cuff and tubing for leaks due
to cracks and tears and connectors
for tightness.
E7
Pressure offset
calibration not
complete.
E7 will occur if you press BP Start
while the BP Zero Calibration Check
is still in progress.
Wait for the E7 error code to
disappear (typically less than 5
seconds) and push the BP Start
button again.
If the E7 error code occurs when you
have not pressed BP Start, or if it
does not disappear, contact BpTRU
Customer Support.

Check patient for pulse. Tighten cuff
on arm and check BpTRU for leaks in
tubing or cuff.

Vacuum detected.
Push Clear button. Disconnect cuff
and wait 15 seconds before
reconnecting. Perform zero-offset
check.
