Caution
When parking the motorcycle on a slope, position
the bike facing uphill. Before driving, always ensure
that the stands are returned to the upper position.
Carburettor enrichment Lever
To help starting the vehicle, the motorcycle is
equipped with one of two types of carburettor
enrichment systems.
1 - Plunger Carburettor: to start a cold engine, raise
the enrichment lever to the highest position. After
starting, lower the lever to half way and allow the
engine to warm up to a normal temperature before
returning the enrichment lever to its home position.
2 - Wire type enrichment plunger carburettor: To start
a cold engine, put the wire handle forward to the end
position. After starting, put the handle in to a middle
position and allow the engine to warm up to a normal
temperature, before returning the enrichment handle
to its home position.
Warning
After using the enrichment system, immediately
turn it off in order to prevent overheating that
could damage the silencer elbow.
