Fuel Switch
The motor cycle is equipped with a manual fuel valve.
There are three positions.
(OPEN Position)
(RESERVE Position)
(CLOSED Position)
The fuel switch will usually be in the (OPEN
Position). When the accelerator grip is rotated, fuel
flows from the valve to the carburettor.
If the fuel level is too low, turn the fuel switch to the
(RESERVE Position) in order to access a certain
amount of reserve fuel.
Turn the fuel switch to the (CLOSED Position) after
the engine is shut down.
Note
Immediately after turning the fuel switch to the
RESERVE position you must refill the tank at the
nearest petrol station and return the fuel switch to
the nearest position.
