  There are several reasons why the burner on your BRAND-MAN Grill might not light with the igniter. It could be due to a closed propane cylinder valve. Ensure the regulator is securely attached to the propane cylinder and the gas cylinder valve is set to ‘OPEN’. Alternatively, the propane cylinder might be leaking; in this case, turn the valve to ‘CLOSED,’ wait 5 minutes, and check for leaks. Other potential causes include burner wires or electrodes covered in cooking residue (clean with rubbing alcohol), wet electrodes and burners (wipe dry), a cracked or broken electrode, loose or disconnected ignition wires, a shorting wire, or a malfunctioning igniter. For issues with the electrode, ignition wires, or igniter, replacement parts may be needed.
