Function Description

- Electrical Connection: The hob can be connected to a 220-240 V~ (32A) or 400 V 3N~ (16A) power supply. It requires an all-pole cut-off device that complies with installation regulations. A disconnection device must be incorporated into the fixed wiring.
- Cooking Zones: The hob features multiple cooking zones with different diameters and maximum power outputs:
- 16 cm diameter: 2500 Watts (10-18 cm bottom diameter for cookware)
- 21 cm diameter: 3600 Watts (12-24 cm bottom diameter for cookware)

- Safety Features:
- Child Safety Lock: Locks the hob controls to prevent accidental activation.

Usage Features
- Choice of Cookware: Only induction-compatible cookware (steel, cast iron, enamelled steel, stainless steel with magnetic bottom) should be used. Glass, ceramic, aluminium, and non-magnetic stainless steel cookware are not suitable. Cookware with a thick and flat bottom is recommended for optimal performance and even heat distribution.
- Burner Selection: The hob automatically detects the size of the cookware and activates the appropriate burner. If the cookware is too small, the power indicator will flash, and the burner will not function.
- Switching On/Stopping: The hob is activated by pressing the power button and then selecting the desired zone. To stop, press and hold the button for the desired heat source or the general shutdown button.
- Power Setting (+/-): Power levels can be adjusted from 1 to 9 using the +/- touch controls. The "Ultra Boost" function provides maximum power for a short period.
- Timer Function: Each cooking zone has a dedicated timer that can be set for up to 99 minutes. The timer can be incremented in 1-minute steps from 0 to 15, and then in 5-minute steps from 5 to 99.
- Boil Function: This function is designed to bring water to a boil and maintain it for cooking pasta. It automatically adjusts power to boil water and then reduces it to maintain a gentle boil.
- Recall Function: This function allows users to temporarily turn off the hob for up to 30 seconds and then resume cooking with the previous settings.
- Horizon Zone: This flexible zone can be used as one large cooking area or two separate zones, offering versatility for different cookware sizes.
- Control Panel: The hob features a touch-sensitive control panel with illuminated indicators for power levels, timers, and active functions.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning:
- For light dirt, use a disinfectant sponge moistened with hot water.
- For baked-on dirt or sweet overflows, use a disinfectant sponge and/or a special glass scraper. Remove large bits with a scraper, then clean with a disinfectant sponge and wipe off.
- For rings and hard water residue, apply warm white vinegar to the stain, let it sit, then wipe with a soft cloth.
- For shiny metal streaks or weekly maintenance, use a special vitroceramic glass product.
- Avoid using powders or abrasive sponges, creams, and special delicate glassware sponges.
- General Care:
- Do not use aluminium foil or aluminium trays on the hob.
- Do not place hot lids flat on the cooktop as this can damage the glass-ceramic top.
- Avoid rubbing cookware, as this may cause damage to the glass-ceramic top.
- Do not store cleaning agents or flammable products in the cabinet under the cooktop.
- Never use a steam cleaner to clean the hob.
