The EndoPro Ai1 is a cordless endodontic motor with root canal measurement capabilities, primarily used in endodontic treatment. It can function as an endo motor for preparing and enlarging root canals, or as a device for measuring canal length. A key feature is its ability to enlarge canals while simultaneously monitoring the position of the file tip inside the canal.

Function Description:

The device is designed for continuous operation and is classified as Class II equipment with an internal power supply, offering Type B applied part protection against electric shock. It is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable anesthetic mixtures with air, oxygen, or nitrous oxide. The applied parts include the contra angle, lip hook, file clip, and touch probe, with a recommended contact duration of 1 to 10 minutes. The surface temperature of the applied part may reach 46.6℃.

The EndoPro Ai1 features an efficient brushless motor, ensuring low noise and a long service life. Its cordless and portable design integrates length determination, enhancing its versatility. The contra angle offers 360-degree rotation, allowing for optimal access and visibility during procedures. The device incorporates real-time feedback technology and dynamic torque control to effectively prevent file separation.

Usage Features:

The device offers six operation modes:

EAL Mode (Electronic Apex Locator): For canal measurement; the motor handpiece does not run in this mode.
CW Mode (Clockwise): Motor handpiece rotates forward 360 degrees.
CCW Mode (Counterclockwise): Motor handpiece rotates counterclockwise only, used for injecting calcium hydroxide and other medicaments (continuous double-beep sound).
SGP Mode (Safety Glide Path): Rotation angle is adjustable, with forward angle equal to reverse angle.
CW-ATR Mode (Clockwise-Adaptive Torque Reverse): Normal continuous forward rotation; when load exceeds set torque limit, the file alternates between forward and reverse rotation at the set angle.
CCW-ATR Mode (Counterclockwise-Adaptive Torque Reverse): Normal continuous reverse rotation; when load exceeds set torque limit, the file alternates between forward and reverse rotation at the set angle.

The device features a clear OLED screen displaying set speed, set torque, real-time torque, and a torque display scale. In canal measurement mode, it shows an apical reference point flash bar and a canal length indicator bar. Digital numbers (00-16) on the meter indicate file progression towards the apex, with "00" signifying the apex foramen.

The contra angle has a precision gear transmission ratio of 4.7:1 and can be rotated 360 degrees for optimal viewing. Files are installed by holding down a push button on the contra angle head, inserting the file, and aligning it with an interior latch groove. Removal involves pressing the push button cover and pulling the file out.

For canal measurement, a measuring wire connects to the motor handpiece via a Type C socket. A lip hook connects to the white socket for patient contact, and a file clip connects to the black socket to hold the file. Connection testing is recommended before each use by touching the lip hook with the file to ensure all meter bars light up and the motor reverses continuously.

The device has 10 customizable memory programs (M0-M9) and 15 preset programs for canal shaping and measurement. Parameters such as operation mode, speed, and torque can be adjusted for each program. Automatic functions like Apical Action (Reverse, Stop, OFF), Auto Start, Auto Stop, Apical Slow Down, and Flash Bar Position can be configured.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning and Disinfection: The contra angle, lip hook, file clip, protective silicon cover, and touch probe must be cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized before each use. The motor handpiece, charging base, and power adapter require manual cleaning and disinfection with neutral pH disinfectant or 75% alcohol; they cannot be autoclaved.
Sterilization: The contra angle and accessories (lip hook, file clip, touch probe) can be sterilized at 134℃, 2.0bar~2.3bar (0.20MPa~0.23MPa) using fractional prevacuum steam sterilization (one fraction cycle, three consecutive half cycles, and one full cycle). Maximum sterilization cycles for products are 250 times.
Lubrication: The contra angle must be lubricated after cleaning and disinfection, but before sterilization, using the original oil injection nozzle.
Battery Replacement: The lithium battery should be replaced with an original one when its capacity diminishes. The manufacturer recommends contacting local distributors for replacement.
Calibration: Calibration of the contra angle is recommended when using a new or different contra angle, or after an extended period of operation, as running properties can change.
Storage: Store the device in a clean, dry, ventilated, non-corrosive atmosphere with 10-93% relative humidity, 70-106kPa atmospheric pressure, and -20℃ to +55℃ temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures to prevent damage to electronic components and battery.
Disposable Isolation Sleeves: Disposable isolation sleeves should be used on the handpiece before each use and removed after. They are not reusable.
