  • On/Off Button (1): Used to switch the coffee maker on and off. A green indicator light illuminates when the machine is in "ready" mode and turns off in "stand by" mode.
  • Timer Function (b): Allows users to program a specific start time for the brew cycle, enabling coffee to be ready at any desired time, day or night. The timer can be set by pressing and holding the TIMER button for at least 3 seconds, then using the SET button (e) to adjust hours and minutes.
  • Clock Setting (d): Displays the time of day and is used to set the current time. The clock can be set to either 24-hour or 12-hour format. To set the time, press the CLOCK button for a minimum of 3 seconds, then use the SET button (e) to scroll through numbers for hours and minutes.

Insert a paper filter (cone type #4) or a gold tone permanent filter into the filter basket (4). Add the desired amount of ground coffee (recommended 1 tablespoon or 1 coffee measuring scoop per cup). Close the water reservoir, place the carafe on the carafe stand (6), plug in the cord, and press the On/Off button (1). Start brewing immediately by pressing START (a) or use the TIMER (b) for a pre-set start. The indicator light will flash during brewing and turn off upon completion.
