  An unpleasant smell from your Braun Electric Shaver head may be because the shaver head is cleaned with water or the cleaning cartridge has been in use for more than 8 weeks. When cleaning the shaver head with water, use only hot water and occasionally some liquid soap (without abrasive substances). Remove the foil & cutter cassette to let it dry. Also, change the cleaning cartridge at least every 8 weeks.

  A drop in shaving performance for your Braun Electric Shaver could be due to a clogged shaving system or worn foil and cutter. Try soaking the foil & cutter cassette in hot water with a drop of dish liquid, then rinse and tap it out. Once dry, apply a drop of light machine oil. If that doesn't help, renew the foil & cutter cassette.

  A significant drop in battery performance in your Braun Electric Shaver could be due to regularly cleaning the shaver head with water but not lubricating it, or worn foil and cutter requiring more power. If you regularly clean with water, apply a drop of light machine oil on top of the foil once a week. You might also need to renew the foil & cutter cassette.
