Operating Instructions
Caution: Do not blend ingredients hotter than 70°C
in the plastic jug and the Smoothie2Go attachment.
(A) Jug
The jug is perfectly suited for
blending smoothies, liquids, sauces, fruit juices
and soups
mixing soft ingredients (mayonnaise, pancake
batter)
pureeing cooked ingredients (baby food)
For detailed processing instructions refer to table I.
Blending very hot ingredients may result in hot
liquid and steam being forced past the lid or
measuring cap and cause severe personal injury.
When preparing hot foods or liquids make sure that
the jug including lid is assembled correctly and do
not exceed the maximum quantity shown in table I.
If preparing greater amounts, the ingredients must
be cooled down to room temperature before
processing.
Maximum operation time for the jug is 90 seconds
at a time. When processing heavy loads let it cool
down to room temperature for next operation.
The blender is equipped with a motor protection
which protects the motor from overheating. If the
motor shuts down during the performance, unplug
the blender and let it cool down for 30 minutes
before continue blending.
(B) Smoothie2Go Attachment
The Smoothie2Go attachment is perfectly suited for
preparing drinks and smoothies. For detailed
processing instructions refer to table II.
(C) Chopper Attachment
The chopper attachment is perfectly suited for
chopping vegetables, hard cheese, onions, herbs,
meat and nuts. For detailed processing instructions
refer to table III.
The chopper attachment can also be used to make
a pancake stuffing or spread. Fill the chopper with
100 g pitted prunes and pulse for 1 second.
(D) Grinder Attachment
The grinder attachment is perfectly suited for
grinding dry ingredients.
For detailed processing instructions refer to table IV.
Pulse Mode
The pulse mode can be used to break apart larger
pieces of food or to control the texture of food when
chopping.
For Best Results
When mixing solid ingredients, cut them up into
small pieces.
If blending action stops during blending there
may be not enough liquid to blend efficiently.
For preparing small amounts of foodstuff use a
low speed level.
When preparing mayonnaise, oil can be added
through the openings between the measuring
cap and the lid.
(E) Care and Cleaning
For detailed information refer to section E.
