Folding “U” handrails (with safety
shield) are manually operated.
The handrails rest on the platform
when the lift is not in use. The
handrails must be folded down to
the platform (horizontal position)
before stowing the lift.
Note: The bridge plate (inboard
roll stop) must be folded down
to the platform (horizontal posi-
tion) before the handrails are
folded down.
