The table bellow gives the internal volume (Vb) and external dimensions (already taking in account the volume
occupied by the driver) for SEALED and VENTED enclosures, each specifically designed for the BVX subwoofers.
For each enclosure, SEALED or VENTED, normal or enhanced bass response can be chosen. In the special case
of SEALED enclosures, intermediate volumes between those ones specified in the table can be chosen with
different results. Smaller enclosures lead to a more enhanced response and higher power handling whereas larger
enclosures exhibit better transient and more extended response.
ENCLOSURES
The enclosure recomendations listed above are external dimensions which assume the use 3/4” ( 19 mm ) thick material.
