Manual for compound,
monocular microscope
The compound microscope allows you to study,
at cell level, structures and textures of botanical
and zoological nature. (e.g. slides of roots,
leaves and stems or blood, skin and hairs).
Depending on the chosen microscope, the total
magnification lies between 40-1000 times. By
using different accessories, this magnification
can be expanded.
Applicable for: BMS 2, BMS 100 and BMS 200
series. For article numbers, see below.
1: Scope of delivery (numbers refer to the photo on page 5):
1) Eyepiece WF 10x, with pointer
2) Monocular tube
3) Fixation screw to secure eyepiece
4) Microscope head, with prism. 360 º rotatable
5) Full metal stand
6) Full metal base with electrical parts and main lead.
7) Nose piece, revolving. Depending on model either triple or quadruple
8) Objectives, DIN Achromatic (with plastic containers)

10x/N.A. 0,25
40x/N.A. 0,65 spring loaded
100x/N.A. 1,25 spring loaded, oil immersion (only in models with quadruple
nose piece)
9) Coarse adjustment with slip clutch
