CARE AND CLEANING
The crumb tray should be cleaned regularly.
Do not allow breadcrumbs to accumulate in
the bottom of the toaster.
1. Always switch the power off at the outlet
and then remove the plug before cleaning
your toaster.
2. To remove any crumbs from the toaster,
slide out the crumb tray from under the
toaster, empty and replace it in the
toaster before using again.
3. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a
slightly dampened cloth and polish with a
soft dry cloth.
4. To clean the interior, turn the toaster
upside down over the sink and shake
crumbs free.
OPERATING YOUR BREVILLE TOASTER (CONTINUED)
Toasting crumpets
To toast crumpets, place crumpets into
toasting slots with the tops facing inwards
toward the middle of the toaster and lower
the high lift lever until it clicks into place.
The crumpet control setting is activated by
pressing the crumpet switch . A small
indicator light will illuminate to confirm that
the crumpet setting has been activated.
This setting when activated adjusts the
heating elements to produce additional heat
to the centre elements to cook the top of
your crumpet faster than the bottom.
Please ensure that you place the top of your
crumpet/s into the toaster facing the centre
elements. See the illustration.
The tops of the crumpet/s
must always face inwards
towards the middle of the
toaster.
The toaster always reverts
back to the bread toast
setting after each toasting
cycle, unless the crumpet
control setting is activated
again.
