Fault remedy
Danger - risk of injury!
Before all maintenance and care, always pull the mains plug, and wait until the cutting blade comes to a standstill!
Fault Possible cause Solution
Motor does not run No power supply
Check the in-house fuse / extension cable
Unit cable defective
Contact the AL-KO service centre / an authorised
specialistrm
Cutting blade blocked
Clean discharge chute / housing, the cutter blade must
turn freely
Current the cutting height for lower grass or previously
mowed areas
Reduced motor
performance
Too much grass in
the discharge chute
or housing
Clean discharge chute / housing
Correct the cutting height
Cutting blade blunt Contact an AL-KO service centre or authorised specialist
rm and have the cutting blades sharpened or replaced
Grass catcher does not
ll up completely
Lawn is wet Allow the lawn to dry
Grass catcher clogged Clean the grass catcher grid
Too much grass in
the discharge chute
or housing
Clean discharge chute / housing
Correct the cutting height
Cutting blade blunt Contact an AL-KO service centre or authorised specialist

Unusual noises Screws loose Tighten screws
