Do you have a question about the Britec AIR FRESH 10 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

This document describes the Britec Air Fresh 10, an evaporative air cooler designed for indoor use. It functions as a climate control device, providing cooling and air circulation.

Function Description

The Britec Air Fresh 10 is an evaporative air cooler, which means it cools the air through the evaporation of water. It draws in warm air, passes it over water-soaked pads, and releases cooler, humidified air. This process is energy-efficient, consuming only 35W of power. The device also features an ionizer function, which helps to purify the air by releasing negative ions, and a fan function for air circulation. It is designed for indoor use and is not suitable for outdoor environments or areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms or swimming pools.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Power Consumption: 35W
  • Airflow: 800 m³/h
  • Speed Settings: 12 levels (01-12)
  • Timer: Programmable from 1 to 12 hours
  • Functions: Cooling, Oscillation, Ionizer, Light
  • Water Tank Capacity: The manual specifies MIN and MAX marks for water filling.
  • Cool Packs: Includes two cool packs to enhance cooling effect.

Usage Features

The Britec Air Fresh 10 offers several user-friendly features:

  • Control Panel Operation: The device has an intuitive control panel located on the unit itself. This panel includes buttons for:
    • ON/OFF: To switch the appliance on and off.
    • SPEED: To adjust the fan speed from 01 to 12. The display shows the current speed.
    • TIMER: To program the device to switch off automatically after a set period (1 to 12 hours). Repeated presses cycle through the timer settings.
    • COOLING: To activate the evaporative cooling function. The water level indicator should be above the MIN level. When activated, the appliance starts pumping water to create cool and moist air.
    • OSCILLATION: To activate or deactivate the oscillation function, which distributes air horizontally in the room. The display lights up when active.
    • ANION (ION): To activate the ionizer function for air purification.
    • LIGHT: To turn on or off the decoration light.
  • Remote Control: The device comes with a remote control for convenient operation from a distance. The remote uses AAA batteries. Users are advised to pay attention to polarity when inserting batteries and to close the cover correctly. The remote should be pointed directly at the front of the appliance and kept away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Water Tank Filling: The water tank is filled from the top of the appliance. Users must check the rubber plug at the back of the appliance to ensure it is firmly inserted into the water outlet to prevent leaks. Water should be poured into the top part of the unit, checking the level on the front display. The water level must be filled above the MIN mark for the pump to function correctly and not exceed the MAX mark to prevent water from entering the appliance's interior and damaging electronic parts. After filling, the cover should be closed. If the exterior of the water tank becomes damp or wet, it should be wiped dry with a soft cloth.
  • Cool Pack Usage: Two cool packs are included to enhance the cooling effect. These should be filled with water up to the MAX mark and placed in a freezer for at least 3-4 hours before use. They are then placed in the compartment on the top of the appliance.
  • Placement: The appliance should be placed on a level and solid surface. It should be at least 50 cm away from walls or other objects to ensure proper air circulation. The air inlet and outlet must be free of obstacles. It should be connected to an earthed electrical outlet.
