Parent unit and Baby unit
1. Operation from Ni-mH rechargeable battery
Slide open the battery cover. Insert the supplied Ni-mH rechargeable battery into the
compartment. Observe correct polarities indication.
2. Operation from AC mains using the charger stand
Connect the output plug of the supplied 6V switching power supply to the DC jack of the
charger stand, make sure the polarity is correct. With the unit being switched off, place it into the
charger stand. The charging indicator will light up red. Adjust the position of unit in case the
indicator does not light up. The charging indicator will start flashing red when the battery is
under charging. Once the battery is fully charged up (normally it takes around 4 hours), the
charging indicator turns steady green. Now the unit can be switched on for operation.
Note : Before using the unit for the first time, charge up Ni-mH battery with the rapid charger for
at least four hours. Be sure to switch off the unit before charging.
CAUTION : BE SURE THE BATTERY IN THE UNIT IS RECHARGEABLE
TYPE BEFORE PLACING IT IN THE RAPID CHARGER, OTHERWISE
EXPLOSION MAY RESULT.
BE SURE THE BATTERY IS INSTALLED IN THE UNIT BEFORE
PLACING IT IN THE RAPID CHARGER, OTHERWISE THE UNIT WILL
NOT OPERATE NORMALLY.
