Why does my Broil King Grill have a flickering burner flame or low temperatures on HIGH setting?
    • M
      Michelle BeckAug 20, 2025
A flickering burner flame or low temperatures on the HIGH setting often indicates that the excess flow safety device has been activated in the connection between the cylinder and the barbecue. To resolve this, turn off the LP cylinder valve and set all burners to the OFF position. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder, wait two minutes, and then re-attach the regulator to the cylinder. Open the cylinder valve slowly and wait one minute before lighting the grill.

How to fix yellow flame on my Broil King SIGNET Grill?
    • J
      Jose AllenAug 26, 2025
Some yellow flame is normal. However, if it is excessive, the venturi may be blocked, or the burner ports may be blocked. Remove the burner and clean the venturi. Also, remove the burner and clean it with a soft bristle brush (e.g., a toothbrush).

Why are there “flare-ups” or grease fires in my Broil King SIGNET?
    • T
      toddhooverAug 27, 2025
Flare-ups or grease fires occur due to excessive grease buildup on the vaporizer or inside the grill's cook box, or because of excessive heat. To resolve this, thoroughly scrape off the Flav-R-Wave and the inside of the cookbox, then vacuum out any debris. Additionally, lower the burner control settings to reduce the heat.

How to fix decreasing heat and popping sound in Broil King SIGNET?
    • K
      Kristi NicholsonAug 30, 2025
Decreasing heat and a popping sound may be due to an empty LP gas cylinder or a blocked venturi. Refill the LP gas cylinder. If that doesn't solve the issue, remove the burner and clean the venturi.

What to do if the control panel or oven lights on my Broil King SIGNET are not working?

      Selena JonesSep 2, 2025
If the control panel or oven lights are not working, first, ensure the unit is connected to a working power outlet with a GFI power cord. How to fix flames beneath the control panel (flashback fire) in my Broil King Grill?
    • M
      Michelle WaltersSep 7, 2025
If you see flames beneath the control panel, which indicates a flashback fire, it's likely that the venturi is blocked. Remove the burner and clean the venturi to resolve this issue.
  • G
    Glenda JohnsonSep 9, 2025
What to do if I detect a leak at the cylinder, regulator, or other connection on my Broil King Grill?
    • J
      Jordan ElliottSep 9, 2025
If you detect a leak at the cylinder, regulator, or any other connection, it could be due to a loose regulator fitting or a gas leak in the hose, regulator, or control valves. First, try tightening the fitting and then perform a “Leak Test.” If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.

How to fix ignitor not working on Broil King Grill?
    • D
      David SmithSep 12, 2025
If the ignitor is not working, it could be due to a dead ignitor battery, disconnected ignitor wires, a misaligned electrode on the burner, or an ignitor malfunction. Replace the battery. Ensure the main burner and side burner electrode wires are all connected. Realign the electrode and clear any surrounding debris from the area. If none of these steps work, use the match lighting procedure.
