Global Adapter
with 2 USB ports
Converters change the power going to your appliance. Adapters change
the plug shape. The Global Adapter with 2 USB Ports lets you use U.S.
dual-voltage 110/120-volt appliances with 220/240-volt outlets worldwide.
It does not convert power. Use only with dual voltage appliances, or in
combination with a converter.
Using this adapter
Includes seven built-in Adapter plugs for over 150 countries. It powers
appliances and charges mobile phones, PDAs and other USB devices.
1. Adjust the Adapter to the desired country by pushing the Release
button and pulling apart the required plug configuration.
2. Plug Adapter into the power outlet and slide the On/Off Switch to
“ON”. The AC Indicator illuminates to indicate electrical power is active
and being transmitted to your device. The USB Indicator illuminates
when a USB device is plugged into the Adapter to indicate power
is being transmitted to the USB device.
Note: These indicator lights do not indicate voltage.
You may need to use a Converter with your devices.
3. Plug your appliance into the Adapter.
4. Slide the On/Off Switch to “OFF” and unplug when not in use.
Changing the fUse
Your Adapter comes with one additional fuse. To replace the old fuse:
1. Find the replacement fuse
(see A).
2. Remove old fuse (see B).
3. Insert new fuse (see B).
Warning
• Unplug the unit from power outlet after each use
• Always check the outlet voltage before using a Converter
or Adapter with your appliance
• Converters and Adapters should only be used with
compatible appliances
• Do not use Converter or Adapter if it isn’t working properly,
has been damaged or dropped in water
