  It's normal for the power cord of a heater appliance to get warm during operation because it requires more current. Check the connections of the appliance cord and the outlet to ensure the plug fits tightly.   Error E1 indicates that the overheat sensor has been engaged. To resolve this, unplug the unit and wait 15-20 minutes to allow the sensor to reset.   Error E2 indicates that the thermostat sensor is broken or not working correctly. To fix this, unplug the unit and wait 15-20 minutes, allowing the sensor to reset. Plug the unit back in and turn on the heater. If the problem continues, contact customer service. Note that the other functions will work normally, but the heater will not.

  It is a standard feature for the blower to continue running for a short time after the unit is powered off. This allows the heater tubes to cool off properly.

  If the remote control signal is weak, make sure you are pressing the buttons slowly and steadily to ensure the transmitter recognizes the request. Also, move closer to the insert, as the remote control works within 20 feet and 45 degrees to either side from the front of the fireplace insert.

  If there is no flame effect but the unit is powered on, first, push the flame brightness button until the desired level is achieved. Secondly, check the USB cable connection into the USB port behind the Fireplace Grate.
