    It's normal for the power cord of a heater appliance to get warm during operation because it requires more current. Check the connections of the appliance cord and the outlet to ensure the plug fits tightly.     Error E1 indicates that the overheat sensor has been engaged. To resolve this, unplug the unit and wait 15-20 minutes to allow the sensor to reset. Then, plug the unit back in and turn on the heater. If the problem persists, call customer service. Note that other functions will work normally, excluding the heater.
