When operating the snowmobile in deep snow or hill climbing, it may
be necessary to vary stopper strap length and/or riding position, to
change the angle at which the track rides on the snow. Operator's fa-
miliarity with the various adjustments as well as snow conditions will
dictate the most efficient combination.
Generally, a longer stopper strap setting gives better performance on
a flat landscape and a shorter setting will improve handling in steep hill
climbing and deep snow conditions.
