The 5-in-1 & BTF-Lighting WB5 LED Strip Controller is a versatile device designed to manage various LED lighting setups, offering both wired and wireless control options. It supports a wide range of LED strip types, including single color, dual white, RGB, RGBW, and RGB+CCT, making it suitable for diverse lighting applications.

Function Description

This controller acts as a central hub for your LED lighting system, allowing you to control color, saturation, brightness, color temperature, and various scenes. It supports both 2.4GHz RF wireless control and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling control via a remote or a smartphone app. The "5-in-1" designation refers to its compatibility with five different types of LED strips:

• Single Color: For basic on/off and dimming functions.
• Dual White (CCT): Allows adjustment of color temperature from warm white to cool white.
• RGB: For full-color control.
• RGBW: Adds a dedicated white channel for purer white light.
• RGB+CCT: Combines full-color control with adjustable color temperature.

The controller features a "SET" button for pairing with remotes and resetting the device. It also includes an indicator light that provides visual feedback on its status, such as successful pairing or network configuration.

Usage Features

1. Remote Control: The controller can be paired with various RF remotes (e.g., FUT089, B8, FUT088, B0, LM09). The "SET" button is used for pairing:

• Linking: Short press "SET" and then press the "ON" button of the linked remote within 3 seconds. The LED strip will blink 3 times to indicate successful linking.
• Unlinking: Short press "SET" and then press the "ON" button of the linked remote 5 times within 3 seconds. The LED strip will blink 10 times to indicate successful unlinking.
• Switching Output Mode: Press "SET" button to switch between the five output modes. The pilot lamp flashing frequency indicates the current mode:
  • Single White Light: Red light flashes once.
  • Dual White Light: Green light flashes once.
  • RGB Light: Blue light flashes once.
  • RGBW Light: Red and Green lights flash once.
  • RGB+CCT Light: Red, Green, and Blue lights flash once.

2. Smartphone App Control (Smart Life / Tuya Smart APP): The controller supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing control via the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app.

• APP Installation: Download the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app from your app store or by scanning the QR code. Register an account if you're a new user.
• Network Configuration:
  1. Connect the controller to a power supply.
  2. Ensure the pilot lamp is flashing quickly (2 flashes per second). If not, either long-press the "SET" key until it flashes quickly, or power cycle the device and then long-press the Zone ON button of a linked remote until the LED strip blinks 3 times.
  3. Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
  4. Open the app, click "+" in the upper right corner, select "Lighting" -> "Strip Lights (BLE+Wi-Fi) or Strip Lights (Wi-Fi)".
  5. Follow the in-app prompts to complete the configuration.
• APP Control Interface: Once configured, you can control color, saturation, brightness, color temperature, and scenes. The app also features a "music rhythm mode" where lights change with music (requires the phone to remain on the app page).
• Device Management: The app allows you to edit device names, share devices with others, and create groups for simultaneous control of multiple controllers.
• Intelligent Control: The app supports creating "smart scenes" where lighting can be automated based on specific conditions (e.g., time, weather, device status).
• Voice Control: The controller is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, allowing voice commands for lighting control after activating the "Smart Life" skill in their respective apps.

3. Auto-transmitting and Auto-synchronizing Functions:

• Auto-transmitting: Controllers within 30m of each other can transmit remote signals to another controller within 30m, extending the control distance.
• Auto-synchronizing: Different controllers can work synchronously when they are started at different times, controlled by the same remote, under the same dynamic mode, and within 30m distance.

4. Wiring and Installation: The manual provides detailed diagrams for connecting the controller to various LED strip types (Single Color, Dual White, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT). Ensure correct polarity (anode and cathode) and voltage.

Maintenance Features

• Troubleshooting: The manual includes a FAQ & Feedback section within the app for support.
• Safety Precautions:
  • Verify input voltage matches the controller's specifications (DC12-24V). Exceeding 24V will damage the controller.
  • Non-professional users should not dismantle the controller to avoid fire and electric shock.
  • Operate within the temperature range of -20~60°C. Avoid direct sunlight, moist, or high-temperature areas.
  • Do not use near metal areas or strong magnetic fields, as this can affect control distance.
  • Ensure proper wire diameter (over 1.5mm²) for loads up to 15A.
  • The controller is not suitable for use in humid areas.
