Overview

The Bticino Classe 100 V16B is a hands-free video internal unit designed for door entry systems, featuring a 5-inch color LCD display. This device serves as a central interface for managing access and communication within a building or apartment.

Function Description:

The primary function of the Classe 100 V16B is to provide hands-free video communication with visitors at the entrance panel. It includes two physical keys for essential video door entry functions: answering and ending calls. Additionally, it features three capacitive keys for common actions such as door lock release, activating/scrolling through entrance panels, and customizing frequently used quick actions. These quick actions can include controlling staircase lights, initiating intercom calls, activating additional door locks, or other generic activations.

The device incorporates a side joystick for adjusting various display and audio parameters, including color, brightness, display contrast, audio volume, and call tone volume. A dedicated LED provides notification for call exclusion.

For installation, the unit can be wall-mounted using the supplied bracket or placed on a tabletop with an optional support (item 344692).

Configuration and Operating Modes:

The Classe 100 V16B is physically configured using configurators connected to specific sockets on the rear of the device:

  • N (Internal Unit Number): Configurator connected to the N sockets assigns an identification number to each video internal unit within the system. Units with parallel connections (up to 3 without item 346850) must use the same N configurator.
  • P (Entrance Panel Association): Configurator connected to the P sockets identifies the associated entrance panel (EP) that activates first when its pushbutton is pressed. It also determines which door lock is activated when the door lock pushbutton is pressed while the unit is idle.
  • M (Operating Mode): Configurator connected to the M sockets assigns operating modes to the three programmable keys. These modes define the function of each key, offering a wide range of options:
    • M = 00: Direct EP door lock activation, EP activation without call, scrolling EP/cameras, call to switchboard, and actuator activation for staircase light.
    • M = 01: Similar to M=00, with the addition of EP door lock release (configured with P+1) or activation of specific actuators (346210-346200 with MOD=5, or 346230-346260 with P1).
    • M = 02: Direct EP door lock activation, EP activation without call, and internal intercom to all units with the same address.
    • M = 03: Similar to M=02, with the addition of scrolling EP/cameras and call to switchboard.
    • M = 04: Direct EP door lock activation, "PRESET INTERCOM" function (intercommunicating call to handset N=1), and actuator activation for staircase light.
    • M = 05: Direct EP door lock activation, EP activation without call, scrolling EP/cameras, call to switchboard, and intercom within the apartment (with interface 346850) or among apartments (without interface).
    • M = 06: Similar to M=05, with the addition of general intercom to all handsets in the apartment (with interface 346850) or all devices in a one-family system.
    • M = 07: Direct EP door lock activation, EP activation without call, scrolling EP/cameras, call to switchboard, and activation of EP (configured with P+1) or actuators (346200-346210 with P+1 and MOD=9).

Door lock opening is only permitted when the entrance panel and internal unit are in voice communication. This function is enabled by moving the corresponding microswitch to ON. When active, all keys requiring door lock activation are disabled, and pressing them causes the white LED to flash.
