WARNINGS
I. GENERAL
1. IMPORTANT - Read the instructions carefully before use and KEEP
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
2. Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in
serious injury or death.
3. NEVER leave child unattended.
4. NEVER pick up the Bugaboo Bee
bassinet by the flexible carry handles
while your child is lying in the bassinet.
5. Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
6. Do not use if any part of the product is broken, torn or missing.
7. Only use accessories and replacement parts supplied or recommended
by the manufacturer/distributor.
8. Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such
as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of bassinet.
9. The handles and the bottom of the bassinet should be inspected
regularly for signs of damage and wear.
10. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string
around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not
suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.
11. Do not let your child play with Bee
bassinet.
12. Do not use the sun canopy in the extended position in combination
with the rain cover. Suffocation hazard.
II. USING THE BASSINET ON THE CHASSIS/INDEPENDENTLY
OF THE CHASSIS
13. The bassinet is suitable only for a child who cannot sit up unaided, roll over
and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the
child is 9 kg (20 lbs), maximum age 6 months, whichever comes first.
14. FALL HAZARD: Child’s activity can move the bassinet. NEVER place
bassinet on counter top, table or any other elevated surface. Only use
on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.
15. Never use the bassinet on a stand.
16. SUFFOCATION HAZARD: bassinet can roll over on soft surfaces and
suffocate child. NEVER place bassinet on bed, sofa, or other soft surface.
17. The bassinet is not intended for prolonged periods of sleeping. Should
your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body,
cot or bed.
