Step 3: Remove the Simplicty lter holder. Reach down into the
jet pod and grab the handle, push out toward the middle of the
spa and lift up to remove from the housing. Place unit on a at
surface with the lter up.
Step 4: Remove and replace the lter. To remove the Simplicity
Filter, compress the pleats and push forward slightly. Lift the
edge of the lter past the capture tab. is will allow you to lift
the used lter from the lter holder. Discard the used lter.
Reinsert a new Simplicity lter into the holder. Orient the lter
media with the glue lines facing upward. Slide one end of the
lter under the retention tabs and then press in and down to tuck
the remainedr of the lter into the frame.
Step 5: Reinstall the Simplicity lter holder back into the pod
with the handle upward. Align the bottom of the unit in the
housing with the handle up and snap the ltration unit into place
in the housing with a back and down motion.
Step 6: Replace the JetPak and Snap-Cap following the
instructions in the section titled "Interchanging JetPaks."
Step 7: Restore main power to the spa.
Filter Maintenance (A, R, X
Series, STIL)
It is recommended that pleated cylindrical lter cartridge(s)
used in A Series, R Series, X Series, and STIL spas be cleaned
every 3-6 weeks or as needed. Spas equipped with the optional
circulation pump system may require increased cleaning intervals
based on use and local water conditions.
After multiple cleanings, worn lter cartridges will need to be
replaced. To maintain warranty protection, use only genuine
Bullfrog Spas lter cartridge replacements. To clean or replace
your lter cartridge(s), complete the following:
CAUTION: Never operate spa with the lter(s) removed.
Step 1: Turn o main power to the spa.
Step 2: Remove lter cap and lter plate.
Step 3: Remove the pleated cartridge(s) by turning the lter
core cap(s) counter clockwise then sliding the cartridge(s) upward
from the lter core.
