This document is an instruction manual for Bush washing machines, specifically models WMNSINT612W and WMNSINT714W. It provides comprehensive information on safety, installation, functions, usage, care, maintenance, and product support.
Function Description
The Bush washing machine is designed for household use to wash textiles suitable for machine washing. It offers a variety of wash programs and functions to cater to different fabric types and soiling levels.
Main Programs:
- Cotton: Suitable for cotton and linen textiles (e.g., coats, bed sheets, towels).
- Cotton Intensive: An extended cotton program for increased washing effects, recommended for baby clothes or persons with allergic skin.
- Eco: For lightly soiled clothes, with a maximum washing temperature of 40℃, designed for energy saving.
- My Cycle: Allows users to save a favorite program with selected functions (delay function not available). The default "My Cycle" program is "Cotton."
- Synthetic: For delicate synthetic clothes (e.g., shirts, coats, blending, curtains, laced textiles). Features a shorter duration and gentle washing movement.
- Delicate: For very delicate clothes, with gentler washing movement and lower spin speed than "Synthetic."
- Wool: For wool textiles labeled "Machine Wash." Requires selecting the proper washing temperature and detergent for wool.
- Spin Only: A separate procedure for spinning clothes after soap water or rinse water has been drained.
- Quick: For quickly washing a few lightly soiled clothes.
- Rinse&Spin: A separate procedure for rinsing and spinning.
- Drain Only: A separate procedure for draining water.
- Mix: A daily wash program suitable for mixing cotton, synthetic, jeans, and kids' textiles with like colors. Not suitable for wool or delicate silks.
Auxiliary Functions:
- Child Lock (Temp.&Speed): Activated by pressing 'Temp' and 'Speed' buttons for 3 seconds. Prevents children from changing settings.
- Suppression of the acoustic signals: Deactivates the buzzer sound. Activated by pressing 'Temp' button for 3 seconds.
- Delay: Delays the start of a program from 1 to 24 hours.
- Speed: Allows selection of the spin speed.
- Temp: Allows selection of the suitable washing temperature.
- Prewash: An additional wash cycle before the main wash.
- Extra Rinse: Provides an extra rinse cycle.

Usage Features
Installation:
- Requires removal of transport bolts before use.
- Levelling feet allow adjustment for stability on flat, firm ground.
- Can be integrated into kitchen furniture, with provisions for hose placement to prevent kinking.
- The appliance door can be arranged to open from right to left or left to right, requiring drilling holes and installing hinges, spacers, and a counter magnet.
- Electrical connections require a qualified technician and must comply with local safety regulations. The power cord plug must be inserted into an earthed three-pole socket.
- Water inlet hose connects to the cold water supply (for single inlet valve models).
- Drain hose should be positioned between 60-100cm from the floor.
Operating the Machine:
- Preparation: Sort laundry by color and fabric type. Empty pockets. Check for sharp objects.
- Loading: Pull the door handle, load laundry into the drum, ensuring no items are caught in the door.
- Power On: Close the door and press the On/Off button.
- Program Selection: Turn the program selection dial to choose a wash program based on textile type.
- Temperature/Spin Speed Selection: Select desired temperature and spin speed.
- Detergent/Softener: Add detergent and softener to the appropriate compartments in the detergent drawer. Dilute viscous fabric softener.
- Start: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
- Completion: The machine will sound when the program is complete. The door will remain locked for 1 minute after the program ends or if power is cut.
Important Usage Notes:
- Do not wash carpets.
- Never refill water by hand during washing.
- Do not climb or sit on the machine.
- Do not force the door closed.
- Run a wash program without clothes before first use.
- If detergent is forgotten, a "drain only" program can be run to add detergent and restart.
- Ensure powder detergent is not lumpy and dry the drawer after use.
- Use less detergent if rinse cycles are not removing all detergent.
- Softener should not exceed the MAX level.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning and Maintenance of Washing Machine Cabinet:
- Wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth and neutral detergents. Avoid caustic gases, flammable/explosive solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not use sharp items to strike the cabinet.
Cleaning Detergent Drawer and Grooves:
- Press down the arrow location on the softener cover inside the drawer.
- Lift the clip up and take out the softener cover.
- Wash all grooves with water.
- Restore the softener cover and push the drawer into position.
Clean Inlet Filter:
- The inlet filter should be cleaned if there is any or insufficient water when the tap is opened.
- Close the tap, remove the inlet pipe, pull out the filter, clean it, and reinstall.
Clean Drain Filter:
- The drain filter should be cleaned periodically (e.g., every 3 months) to ensure normal operation and prevent blockages from foreign matters like coins, pins, or buttons.
- To clean, open the filter cover, drain accumulated water, loosen and remove the filter, clean it, and reinstall.
Defrost a Frozen Washing Machine:
- If the machine freezes, pour warm water into the washing drum and wait for 10 minutes.
- Reconnect the inlet pipe and check for normal operation.
- Ensure the machine is used above 0°C.
Anti-freeze:
- If the machine is located in a room where it can get frozen, drain the remaining water inside the drain pipe and inlet pipe thoroughly.
General Notes:
- Pull out the power plug and disconnect the water supply before cleaning or maintenance.
- Check that all pockets are emptied before washing.
- The glass door can become very hot during operation; keep children and pets away.
