What to do if the mandrel doesn’t rotate on my Butler Tyre Changer?

  If the mandrel doesn’t rotate, it might be due to an inverter overload, undervoltage, or overvoltage alarm. Try shortening any extension cables or increasing the conductor section, then disconnect and reconnect the machine. Lift the motor pedal and wait for the automatic reset. Alternatively, it could be an overtemperature alarm. In this case, wait for the motor system to cool down, as the machine will not restart until the temperature goes below the safety threshold.

Why don't the bead breaking arms hold their position on my Butler AIKIDO.4?

  The bead breaking arms may not hold their position because the compressed air supply pressure is below 6 Bar. Check the supply pressure. If the pressure is adequate, the positioning cylinder may be badly adjusted, requiring technical assistance.

  If the mandrel does not reach the maximum rotation speed, it could be due to increased mechanical resistance in the gearmotor system. Try turning the mandrel without a wheel for a few minutes to heat the system and reduce friction. If the mandrel still doesn't accelerate, you may need technical assistance.
