  There are several reasons why your bXterra UPS battery backup time might be too short. It could be due to low battery voltage, in which case you should charge the battery for at least 6 hours. Another cause might be an overload; try unplugging some noncritical devices and verify that the load matches the UPS capabilities. If neither of these resolves the issue, the battery may be defective.

What to do if the circuit breaker button is projecting from the back of my bXterra BM1500AVRLCD unit?

  If the circuit breaker button is projecting, it means the circuit breaker has tripped due to an overload. To fix this, turn the bXterra UPS off and unplug one piece of equipment. Wait 10 seconds, then reset the circuit breaker and turn the UPS on again.
