Internet Phone Commander
The Internet Phone Commander by Cables To Go is a new item for PCs and Notebooks
using USB technology. You can use your regular telephone as both an IP and regular phone by
connecting to your home phone line at the same time. It can save you money in telephone
costs and you use it just like a normal phone!!!
Features
• While the device is connected to a normal telephone, you can call either an IP phone or a
normal telephone.
• Transferring phone call functionality enables you to transfer calls from VoIP to your normal
phone or cell phone through your home phone line
• Supports Skype, GoogleTalk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL VoIP, along with
many other VoIP services (*Some functions of the Internet Phone Commander are not
available for some services)
• No external power supply needed
• Support both normal phone and cordless phone
• Noise cancellation function using DSP technology
• The key-presses on the telephone can be simulated as the keyboards and mouse by
software, in order to finalize the control of software for IP phone users
• No need to use the keyboard or mouse while dialing on the IP phone
• Voice reminder for wrong dialing
• Simply hang up the phone to end the conversation
• Easy to use
Hardware connection
• Using a telephone cable, one end is connected to the Line port; another is connected to a
residential telephone line.
- If the user doesn’t need the function of a residential phone line, please go directly to
Step 2
• Using a telephone cable, one end is connected to the Phone port, the other end is connected
to the normal telephone
• Plug the USB port into the PC
Software installation
• The Power light will be on if the adapter is correctly connected.
• Insert the CD driver included, double click Setup install the drivers
• Click finish
How to use
• Make sure your PC and Internet is on.
• Make sure you’ve downloaded a VoIP service, if not please download

Hardware Connection Steps

Connect to Residential Line

Connect one end of the telephone cable to the Line port and the other to a residential phone line.

Connect to Telephone

Connect one end of a telephone cable to the Phone port and the other to a normal telephone.

Connect to PC

Plug the USB port into the PC for device operation.

Software Installation and Usage

Software Installation Process

Insert the CD, double-click Setup to install drivers, and click Finish.

Initial Setup and Dialing

Start the software, input Skype credentials, and set up speed dial shortcuts for contacts.

Making Calls

Dial Skype contacts using shortcuts (* + shortcut + #) or normal numbers directly.

Call Handling and Transfer

Answer calls by picking up the phone, end by hanging up, and transfer incoming Skype calls to other phones.

Avoid frequent unplugging, do not exit software arbitrarily, and protect from extreme temperatures.
