Why is my Cafe Toaster toast too light or too dark?

If your toast is consistently too light or too dark when using the Cafe Toaster, the first thing to check is the browning setting. If your toast is too dark, try selecting a lower setting for your next batch. Conversely, if it’s too light, opt for a higher setting. Also, make sure the frozen button isn't activated unintentionally.
