What to do if my Calomax eclipse 3C5 is overboiling?
    • T
      Terry Hampton MDAug 2, 2025
If your Calomax Boiler is overboiling, the issue could stem from several causes. It might be due to excessive internal scale, in which case, de-scale the boiler, especially the thermistor. Another possibility is faulty wiring to the thermistor or a faulty thermistor itself, which would require repair or replacement. The temperature controller might need adjusting to a lower operating temperature. Additionally, a failed element to earth would necessitate element replacement, or a defective Printed Circuit Board would require replacement.

If there's no boiling water available from your Calomax Boiler, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a broken tap top, which would need replacement. Alternatively, the element might have failed or tripped, requiring replacement or reset. A defective Printed Circuit Board could also be the cause, necessitating its replacement.

What to do if my Calomax eclipse 3C5 overflows?
    • N
      Nicole JohnsonAug 21, 2025
If your Calomax Boiler is experiencing overflows, it could be due to dirt in the solenoid valve. Try cleaning the solenoid filter or replacing the solenoid, and "work the boiler" following the Service Instructions. Another potential cause is that the level sensors require de-scaling or replacement. Also, a defective Printed Circuit Board may be the reason, and you would need to replace the circuit board.
