Why is the anti calc indicator flashing on my CALOR Express Essential Iron?

If the anti-calc indicator is flashing on your CALOR Iron, it could mean that the anti-calc cartridge is no longer effective and needs replacing. Replace the anti-scale cartridge with a new one, then press the reset button for at least 3 seconds. Alternatively, the descaling procedure may be required; see section "Descaling your generator."
