Disconnect power cord from wall receptacle. Remove
all foods and clean interior. Such loose items as grill,
shelves, storage pans, ice bin, covers and removable
parts should be protected or secured with tape. This
prevents their coming loose and causing damage. If
your refrigerator is on wheels, be sure it is properly
secured in moving van to prevent rolling and
damage. Handle with care, exterior should be
protected with blanket covering.
Preparing to move?
To replace a burned-out bulb, unplug the
refrigerator from its electrical outlet. In the fresh
food compartment, remove the lens cover by gently
applying pressure to the side of the lens cover and
pull the cover free from the control housing.
Unscrew the bulb when cool and replace it with an
appliance bulb of the same or lower wattage. In the
freezer compartment, simply unscrew and replace
the bulb after ensuring the refrigerator is unplugged.
Turning the control to the OFF position does not remove power
to the light circuit.
