Do not connect to a remote gas supply.

PRECAUTIONS FOR FUEL USE
The butane canisters that are used in our products are designed for vapor
withdrawal only. This is done by lining up the notch in the collar of the can with
the extension bar on the regulator. They must fit together or the can wil not lock
into place. The valve inside the canister is shaped like a sideways “L” so when the
notch is lined up and locked in correctly, the “L” is always pointed upwards to
draw only vapor from the canister.
Do not dispose of empty gas canister into fire, risk of explosion may occur.
No more than 48 LP-gas fuel canisters shall be stored in one building.
The butane fuel container shall comply with DOT 2P or 2Q requirements and
shall be listed to the Standard for Non-refillable (Disposable) Type Metal
Container. Assemblies for Butane, UL 147B.
Avoid any strong shock or impact to the fuel canister. Keep canisters upright
for storage.
Remove canister from stove before storing.
Use only butane set up for vapor withdrawal.

BUTANE INFORMATION AND STORAGE
The JK-7000/JK-7700
has been certified for outdoor use as a camp stove. The storage of the canister
regulations are not the same for each use.
In a home or residence, the canister must be removed from the stove and the canister must be stored
outdoors in a well ventilatde area, out of the reach of children. They shall not be stored in a building,
garage or any other enclosed area.
The stove may be stored indoors but only if the canister is removed.
When the stove is not in use or in storage, always remove the fuel canister.
Keep the stove area clear and free of combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable
vapors and liquids.
Do not obstruct the flow of ventilation and combustion air around the appliance.
Keep your stove clean using a stiff brush to clean the burner head.
Use a soft cloth to clean greasy parts of the stove with soap and water.
Keep the igniter and the burner head gap free from debris for easy lighting.
Clean stove frequently to avoid grease build up and as necessary.
Burner flame should be blue with hint of yellow tip.
Read and comply with all instructions and warnings in this manual
before using this Product. Keep these instructions for future reference.

CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD AND OXYGEN WARNINGS
EXPLOSION - FIRE HAZARD
NEVER install or remove butane cartridge while outdoor stove is lighted,
near flame, pilot lights, other ignition sources or while outdoor stove is
hot to touch.
NEVER store butane near high heat, open flames, pilot lights, direct sunlight,
other ignition sources or where temperatures exceed 120 degrees F (49 C ).
During operation, this product can be a source of ignition. NEVER use the stove in spaces that
contain or may contain volatile or airborne combustibles, or porducts such as gasoline,
solvents, paint thinner, dust particles or unknown chemicals. Minimum clearances from
combustible materials: 16 inches from the sides & 63 inches from the top.
Provide adequate clearances around air openings into the combustion chamber.
Butane canisters must be stored outdoors, in a well ventilared space, out of the
reach of children, and must not be stored in a building, garage, or any other
enclosed area.

Ensure lever is in UNLOCK position, insert canister, then push lever to LOCK. Check for leaks with soapy water.

Lighting the Stove

Ignition Procedure

Turn Control Knob counter clockwise until a click is heard. If no ignition, repeat or check canister.

Match Lighting

Turn knob to OFF, push canister lever to LOCK, hold match to burner, turn knob counter clockwise slowly.

Shutdown Procedure

Turn Control Knob to OFF, return lever to UP position. Allow stove to cool, then remove butane cartridge.

Storage Guidelines

Clean stove, ensure lever is UNLOCK, disconnect fuel canister. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.

Trouble Shooting

No Gas Comes Out

Check if the gas cartridge was inserted and locked properly. Check if the gas cartridge is empty.

No Ignition

Clean the burner head, check igniter tip alignment for spark production.

You Smell Gas

Ventilate room, do not use ignition sources. Evacuate if odor is strong.

Overview

The Camplux Portable Gas Stove is an outdoor cooking appliance designed for use as a camp stove, not for household use. It is certified to ANS Z21.72-CSA 11.2-2016 Camp Stove standards.

Function Description

This portable gas stove is designed for outdoor cooking using butane gas canisters. It features a single burner with piezo-electric ignition for easy lighting. The stove allows for adjustable flame control to achieve desired heat levels. It is equipped with a safety device that stops the flow of gas if the pressure in the cartridge becomes too high, for example, due to overheating. The stove is specifically designed for vapor withdrawal from butane canisters, ensuring safe and efficient fuel use.

Usage Features

Setting Up the Stove:

  1. Place the cooker on a horizontal, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Ensure the canister lever is in the "UNLOCK" position.
  3. Turn the Control Knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.
  4. Open the canister compartment cover.
  5. Locate the notch on the butane canister collar, lift the safety guide inside the stove connection, and insert the canister so the safety guide is inside the canister collar notch.
  6. Push down the canister lever to "LOCK" position.
  7. Close the canister compartment cover.
  8. Check for leaks using soapy water (bubbles indicate a leak).

Lighting the Stove (Piezo-Electric Ignition):

  1. Turn the Control Knob counter-clockwise until a click is heard, indicating a spark has been produced.
  2. If the stove doesn't light, turn the Control Knob back to "OFF" and repeat.
  3. After three failed attempts, turn the gas supply off by turning the Control Knob clockwise to "OFF" and return the Canister lever to "UNLOCK" position. Open the door, remove the canister, and shake to verify it's not empty.
  4. Adjust the flame with the Control Knob to desired heat.

Lighting the Stove (Match Light):

  1. Turn the Control knob clockwise to "OFF" position.
  2. Push down the canister lever to "LOCK" position.
  3. Hold a lighted match next to the Burner and turn the Control Knob counter-clockwise slowly.
  4. Adjust the flame to desired heat.

Turning Off and Storing:

  1. Turn the Control Knob clockwise to "OFF" position and return the lever to the "UNLOCK" position.
  2. Allow the stove to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Take the unit outdoors away from any ignition sources.
  4. Remove the butane cartridge.
  5. Store the butane canister consistent with instructions and warnings on the cartridge.
  6. Ensure the Lever on the stove is in the "UNLOCK" position.
  7. Store the stove in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children.

Safety Precautions:

  • For outdoor use only.
  • Do not carry or touch the unit while it is burning or hot.
  • Do not overheat the stove or use it for drying clothes.
  • Do not use two or more stoves adjacent to each other, or covered by a single pan/metal sheet.
  • Do not use as a heater.
  • Always use with the pan support.
  • Do not use a pan larger than 11" to avoid covering the fuel compartment and overheating the canister.
  • Never use aluminum foil or ceramic cookware.
  • If using on ground with sand/mud/stones, place a non-combustible matting underneath.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources exceeding 120F.
  • Never heat an empty pan.
  • Do not use in windy conditions as the flame may extinguish, leading to gas flow.
  • Never use near flammable materials or combustible vapors.
  • Do not use below shelves or where there is a danger of falling objects.
  • Provide ample ventilation to avoid carbon monoxide hazard.

Troubleshooting

  • No Ignition: Clean the burner head with a brush. Check the igniter tip for proper spark production.
  • Can Not Lock in The Fuel Canister: Check that the Control Knob is in the OFF position, the pan support is in the upright position, and the notch on the canister is lined up with the MSR regulator guide.
  • You Smell Gas: Check for gas leaks with soapy water where the canister and regulator meet. If a leak is found and the canister was inserted properly, return to the dealer for repair. Do not use. If the gas odor is strong, evacuate the building and seek professional assistance.
