Error Message Cause Corrective Action
Roll paper is not securely in
contact with roll holder.
When the roll was loaded, the roll
was not inserted firmly all the way
on the Roll Holder .
Follow these steps to reload the roll.
Press the OK button and remove the roll holder
from the printer.

Insert the roll firmly on the Roll Holder until it
touches the flange.

Load the Roll Holder in the printer.3.
Roll feed unit error. The Roll Feed Unit is not working. Turn off the printer, remove the Roll Feed Unit
momentarily, and then reinstall it.

If the message is displayed again despite these
measures, contact your Canon dealer for assistance.
No Roll Unit. The printer has received a print
job, but the Roll Unit is not
installed.
Press the Stop button to stop printing.
Turn the printer off and install the Roll Unit .1.
Turn the printer on and resend the print job.2.
Connect the Roll Unit Cable firmly and completely.
