recharge this battery, use Battery Charger LC-E4N/LC-
E4.
• This battery is not fully recharged upon factory shipment.
Recharge it before using.
•
In
certain battery states,
the
battery cannot
be
charged
to
100%.
• When charging with the Battery Charger LC-E4,
if
all three
charge
level indicators are blinking, check the battery's
recharge performance with the charger. (For the checking
procedure, refer
to
the camera or charger's instruction
manual.)
• If
the charge level indicator is lit,
the battery can still
be
used.
However, purchasing a new battery
is
recommended
depending
on
the battery's recharge performance.
• If the charge level indicator does not tum on, it indicates a
battery
malfunction. Remove the battery from the charger,
and contact your
dealer or nearest Canon Service Center.
• When storing the battery, attach the protective cover
to
prevent the electrical contacts from shorting.
• Also read "Tips for Using the Battery and Charger"
in
the
camera's instruction
manual and Battery Charger LC-E4N/
