Navigate to the Canon website to access the Drivers & Software section for your model.
Choose the correct operating system from the dropdown menu to view available drivers.
Click the download icon to get the CanonAPChkTool software for your printer.
Save the downloaded file and record its location and name for easy access.
Open the Access Points window to view detected wireless networks.
Execute the 'Wireless Setup Assistant' tool by double-clicking its icon.
Review and agree to the license terms by clicking 'Yes' to proceed.
Click 'OK' on the confirmation dialog box presented by the assistant.
Grant permission for the assistant to access network information stored securely in your keychain.
Write down or copy the Network Password for the selected access point.
Input the network key (password) into the provided entry field.
Click 'Connect' to finish the setup and proceed to the next stage.
